My name is Mandie, I am a commercial photographer based in Atlanta, Georgia. After spending 4 years at SCAD in the heart of Midtown, now I live in the North Atlanta suburbs. I started shooting 35mm film and pinhole in 2005 with darkroom processes. Since then, I have progressed to professional digital photography and mass media image management. My specialties include photo editing, archival practices, and retouching in the areas of manipulation, compilation, color correction and spot retouching.

Shortly after graduating I started a commercial image library project with the CDC's department of creative services in Atlanta. After that I dipped my toes in the editorial world working as a full time assistant at Time Inc. subsidary Southern Progress which houses Cooking Light, Southern Living & Oxmoor House publishing.

Following that I contracted to the CDC as a digital image specialist. During my time there I implemented and conducted an overhaul on the archival process for all digital photography. I took on photography assignments for the agency specializing in portraiture as well as historical photography. Many assignments included of high-profile public figures and international political figures.

I now work as a full time photographer for a defense contract company to the United States Air Force just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Part of a team of 6 photographers, I photograph employee engagement, award ceremonies, industrial requests, and document significant air force flights as well as plane deliveries. Many assignments include studio portraits, environmental portraits, and customer relations tours from foreign countries as well as the Air Force.
